Men aged 45 years and above with an immediate family history of prostate cancer

Confirmation and Book

If eligible, you will receive an email with instructions to book your appointment at a participating clinic.

Get Screened

Based on your questionnaire, you will undergo either a PSA blood test or a transabdominal ultrasound.

Receive Your Results

Your results and any recommended follow-up steps will be shared with you.

Who is More Likely to Be at Risk?

Even if you feel healthy, screening is recommended if you meet the eligibility criteria., You may have a higher risk of developing prostate cancer if you:

Are aged 50 years and above

Have a father, brother or son who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer

Belong to certain ethnic groups with a higher risk of prostate cancer

Have other medical or lifestyle risk factors

Who is eligible for this screening programme?

This programme is open to:

  • Men aged 50 years and above, or
  • Men aged 45 years and above with an immediate family history of prostate cancer

Who also hold a valid Blue or Orange CHAS Card or are Public Assistance card holders. Eligibility is subject to a review of your registration and health questionnaire.

The screening is fully paid by 365 Cancer Prevention Society for participants who meet the programme’s eligibility criteria.

 

The questionnaire is a prostate cancer risk assessment that helps us better understand your risk factors and determine whether the screening is suitable for you. 

Based on your questionnaire, you will undergo either a PSA blood test or a transabdominal ultrasound.

Your confirmation letter tells you how to contact the clinic you selected during registration. You arrange the date and time directly with them, so you can choose what fits around work or family.

Your results and any recommended follow-up steps will be shared with you.

If your screening results are abnormal, the doctor will explain your results and discuss the next steps, including any further assessment or follow-up care that may be required.

If you notice blood in your urine, we recommend seeing a doctor promptly for a medical assessment.
