If eligible, you will receive an email with instructions to book your appointment at a participating clinic.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Singapore. But in its early stages, it may not cause noticeable symptoms, which means you may feel completely well while changes are already developing.
That’s where screening comes in. A mammogram can detect abnormalties that may not be felt, helping to detect breast cancer earlier, when treatment may be more effective.

The screening is fully paid by 365 Cancer Prevention Society for participants who meet the programme’s eligibility criteria.

Mammography is a low-dose X-ray imaging technique used to examine the internal structure of the breast. During a routine screening mammogram, the breast is gently compressed between two plates while X-ray images are taken from two different views. This allows abnormalities to be detected and located, and can assist in diagnosing breast conditions, including breast cancer.
Your confirmation letter tells you how to contact the clinic you selected during registration. You may arrange the date and time directly with them, so you can choose what fits around work or family.
If your screening results are abnormal, the doctor will explain your results and discuss the next steps, including any further assessment or follow-up care that may be required.
