Research Grant 2026

We invite researchers and innovators to submit proposals for impactful non-clinical cancer research projects that advance prevention, support survivorship, and improve patient well-being.

Grant call period: 2 – 31 January 2026

Focus Areas:

  1. Cancer Prevention and Early Detection
  2. Cancer Patient Support and Survivorship Programs
  3. Healthcare Services Programs

Cancer Research Grant (CRG)

Funding Criteria
  • Focus Areas:
  1. Cancer Prevention & Early Detection
  2. Cancer Patient Support & Survivorship Programmes
  3. Healthcare Service Programme
  • Between 6 months to 24 months upon completion
  • Grant fund items should be directly related to the research project
  • Research must be done in Singapore
  • Clinical trials or studies involving human tissue samples will not be considered
Pls/Site-Pls Qualifications
  • Must be a Singaporean or PR
  • Must be working in Singapore
  • Must have had experience in conducting research 
Grant Call Period
  • 2 – 31 January 2026
Grant Amount
  • S$150,000 per project

Spark Grant Award (SGA)

Funding Criteria
  • Focus Areas:
  1. Cancer Prevention & Early Detection
  2. Cancer Patient Support & Survivorship Programmes
  3. Healthcare Service Programme
  • Between 6 months to 24 months upon completion
  • Grant fund items should be directly related to the research project
  • Research must be done in Singapore
  • Clinical trials or studies involving human tissue samples will not be considered
Pls/Site-Pls Qualifications
  • Must be a Singaporean or PR
  • Must be working in Singapore
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the industry. Prior research experience is not required.
  • Under mentorship of experienced researcher(s)
Grant Call Period
  • 2 – 31 January 2026
Grant Amount
  • S$10,000 per project
